Due to on-going Covid restrictions and requirements for private and public events, the BWA executive has made the tough decision to once again postpone our in-person Buck Awards as well as the Brandon Gun Show for 2021. Our goal in putting on these events is to provide an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for all participants and vendors, and we just didn’t feel that we could do that while having to adhere to occupancy limits, attempt to ensure social distancing, enforce mask use, etc. In addition to that, Manitoba Health has the space at the Keystone Centre that we usually use booked for their vaccination clinic until the end of December.
It is the BWA executive’s hope that we will be able to hold both shows next year without any restrictions.
We will be running our socially distanced Big Buck contest as we did in 2020, more information on scoring stations will be posted in the coming days.
